Vertigo

Vertigo is the sensation that you or your surroundings are spinning or moving when you are not. It’s a type of dizziness, often caused by a problem with the inner ear’s balance system (peripheral vertigo) or, less commonly, by an issue in the brain (central vertigo). Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, loss of balance, and difficulty focusing. Common causes are Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), caused by crystals in the inner ear, or some conditions like Ménière’s disease or some underlying conditions.
